Withdrawal policy
Here you can find how a withdrawal request is made, how long it takes, which verifications are needed and when a request may be delayed or refused. This policy should be read together with the tables on the Deposit & withdrawal page.
1Introduction
This policy explains the rules that apply when you withdraw funds from your LiraX account. By submitting a withdrawal request you confirm that you have read and accepted the terms of this policy.
Our aim is to let you reach your funds safely and within predictable times, while protecting you and your account against unauthorised transactions.
2Available withdrawal methods
Withdrawals can be made by FAST and bank transfer (EFT) to your bank account, and to your Visa, Mastercard and Troy card. Where possible, funds are returned by the route you used to deposit. The account and card must be registered in your own name.
The type, fee and timing of each method match the table on the page; the current list is always on the Deposit & withdrawal page.
3Processing times
For approved withdrawals the standard times are: within 24 hours with FAST, 1-3 business days with bank transfer and Troy, and 1-5 business days for Visa and Mastercard refunds. The time starts from the moment your request is approved.
Bank opening hours, public holidays, how fast the card-issuing bank posts the credit and how busy the payment institution is can all affect the time. The processing step itself is within our control; the time your bank takes to show the funds in your account is not.
4Fees and costs
LiraX charges no commission on withdrawals. Your bank or payment institution may apply a fee under its own tariff, which appears in their app or on your statement.
If a currency conversion is needed, the rate that applies is shown before the transaction is confirmed. No hidden charges apply. For details see Fees & pricing.
5Withdrawal limits
Minimum and maximum withdrawal amounts depend on the method you choose, your plan and your verification level. You see your current limits in the dashboard when you open the withdrawal form, before you send the request.
For security reasons, high-value withdrawals can be split into stages or may require extra verification. Many withdrawal requests on the same account in a short time can also be sent automatically for review.
6KYC/AML checks
Your identity must be verified before your first withdrawal. The required documents and the process are described on the AML / KYC page. A withdrawal request on an account where verification is incomplete is not approved.
When risk assessment requires it, extra documents about the source of funds may be requested. This is only to meet legal obligations.
7Reasons for delay or refusal
A withdrawal request can be delayed or refused for these reasons:
- Bank or card details that do not match the account holder's name
- Missing, illegible or expired documents
- An ongoing enhanced review or detection of suspicious activity
- Technical problems at the bank or payment institution
- A legal or regulatory requirement
In such a case we tell you the reason and the way to resolve it by email.
8User responsibility
Entering the bank account number (IBAN), card details and recipient name correctly is your responsibility. An amount sent to another account because of wrong details may not be recoverable.
Check the withdrawal summary carefully before sending the request, and log in only from your own device.
9Cancelling or changing a request
You can cancel a request that has not yet been processed in the dashboard, or change the amount and method. A request that has been processed and sent to the payment institution cannot be withdrawn.
If you are not sure, write to your personal manager or the support team; they will tell you what stage the request has reached.
10Support
For withdrawal questions write to [email protected] or call your personal manager. The reply time is usually within one working hour.
11Updating the policy
This policy may be updated because of legislation, payment infrastructure or changes to our service. The current version takes effect as soon as it is published on this page; we also try to notify important changes by email.
